I read it this morning.
Now I want to sell all my stuff. And my kids. :) |
My buddy got married in February. They quit their jobs, sold all their stuff and bought a conversion suburban. Been traveling since then. I am jealous.

Nice read, maybe when the kids are done with college...the question is how many bike to take?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...da46864c36.jpg

and heck, that's $1000+ in wheels/tires sitting there. |
Saw similar Mercedes at Quinalt on the Olymic peninsula. That one was a bit more angular in shape but still a 4-wheel drive Mercedes camper. Never did see anyone around it but it was in a day visitor space and gone the next morning. Looked tres kool.

I have a Sprinter and I'm in this wayyyyyy less than what everyone is ball parking. It's actually a really great build too: soundproofed, insulated, storage, removable bed, separate battery bank, solar and a few other niceties. I don't have a 4x4 which kept cost down but I live in So. California so no real need for it. I also have the low roof because I plan to do the same pop top as pictured down the road but in the mean time it's totally functional as is.
Such a great setup for quick MTB excursions out of town. |
