Masters racer suspended for (only) four years for using 10 banned substances
USADA drops what appears to be a very light hammer on this putz.

A change-up from the usual story - this guy was a downhill and enduro rider. I can see how anabolics would be helpful for those disciplines, especially for someone well past the age of peak testosterone production.
|
That's an awful lot of product to do old guy races.
|
Jeez - that was a hell of a list. I've never heard of most of them lol.
I'm not familiar with him/did he win a lot? That is, do all those things really work??!?!?! |
Four years in amateur racing seems like a really long time. Doesn't seem like a light punishment to me.
|
Lol. This **** cracks me up. "Old" guys with some coin love to get on anti-aging regimens. Huge money for the MDs that pedal this crappola.
Zero shock he's from CA. More money than sense. I plan on getting fat(ter) and slow(er) as I age...even if I am dumb enough to pin another number on. |
|
This was from 10 your ago, no?
His results obtained on and subsequent to June 16, 2010, which is the date on which he first used prohibited substances, have been disqualified, including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes, according to an USADA press release. |
That old and still has insecurity and self esteem issues. The good news is there are a lot of clinical trials available now days for whatever comes to call down the road health wise.
|
I think it might be surprising to many how many people dope just to hang with the local world championship ride.

This story has kind of an Onion quality to it.

10 banned substances and those results?!...the ridicule and mockery from other cyclists will be worse than the suspension. :fight:
