Serotta ID
Hi all,
A friend of mine inherited a Serotta and asked me to help sell it as she knows nothing about bikes. I read through this thread but can't find a serial number that matches the one on the bike. It is: CCN 52 031 From previous posts I am assuming this is custom made, size 52, but could not find what model CN matches. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
We haven't identified all the codes yet. Post some pics of the frame and perhaps we can figure it out.

Attached a pic of the bike and the serial number. Let me know if there any other angles that would be helpful. Thanks!

Need some help please on an estimated value of my Serotta
I have a 1979 Serotta Colorado with 54" frame in excellent condition. Trying to find out an estimated value.
Can anyone help out? Thanks! http://i64.tinypic.com/nbpshv.jpg. |

Sorry about the slow reply. |
I'm pretty sure that's a 1992 Colorado TG. Stock color that year was red with yellow decals. I'd guess it might bring $400-500 depending on what the components are.

Awesome! Thank you very much!

Glad to join in the discussion. I've had my Serotta frame for about a year or so now. Built it up with parts from my Bianchi Infinito & added a Di2. Serial number is COS 61 1212. The name painted on the top tube is OCHO instead of Ottrott. Andy

I had about 5k miles on the Infinito and this came up. Bought it, moved parts over and sold the Infiito frame thru the same source I bought the Serotta. Andy |
help identifying this Serotta

Help me identify this bike? Just picked up this frame on ebay. The serial number is GT 56M 024. Fits a 1" headset. Titanium frame with ovalized downtube.

Welcome, looks like a nice frame. My guess would be a GP Ti, circa 2000. There's a CX size chart in the 2000 catalog that shows the 56M geometry. The picture on the CX page in the catalog is of a GP/DKS, which adds rear suspension to your frame. Stock fork at the time was a Kinesis AL.
