These high-zoot “never ridden” bikes are always a mystery to me. (And “I don’t road ride” only deepens the mystery.) |

Super light weight carbon CX bike or gravel, which ever you prefer. This Focus Mares Race Series CX frame started out as a back up frame for a top national and world cyclocross rider from Oregon. It since made it way through two other owners including myself as backup bike for cx racing. It has seen very little race time and more road and gravel time. The carbon frame is a medium frame size and will fit 5' 8" - 6'. It currently has 35 cm Panaracer GravelKing tires on it and I'm including two pair of 33 cm folding race tires that seen maybe two races each. I switched out the rear deraileur from a Sram Red to a Sram GX to enable a larger cassette (11x34) installation and replaced the chain. Since this new setup it has seen about 40 miles total on gravel. I will include the Red rear deraileur and original 11x26 cassette. I used this bike as a backup for the 2019 CX National Championship, where I needed it and had a front flip that caused a rip in the right brake handle cover (shown in photo) which I've taped up. This bike will make a great starter or backup CX bike. You can also use it for gravel riding, but it won't accomadate extra wide tires. *Frame - Carbon, size medium *Shifter/Brake Levers - Sram Red *Front Deraileur - Sram Red *Rear Deraileur - Sram GX (original Sram Red included) *Crankset - Sram Red 42-36 *Front & Rear Brakes - TRP Carbon EuroX *Rear Cassette - Shimano XT 10 Speed 11-34 (original 11x28 included) *Wheel Set - Mavic Ksyrium Elite *Tires - 3 sets - Panaracer GravelKing 35 cm (on wheels), Challenge Chicane folding 33 cm, Donnelly MXP 33 cm *Handle bars - Easton EA90 44 cm *Stem - Easton carbon EC90 *Seat - Selle Italia SL *Pedals - Time ATAC 4 *Weight - 17.5 lbs If the post is still up, the bike is still available. I make it into Seattle once a week and can arrange for a meet up. https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/b...515781422.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
