IMO that thing is tad overpriced, just low end victory parts and ban in the day miche was not having like the campagnolo finish at all, parts were pretty rough. Maybe 500 american dolars but for like 650 euros is too much IMO.

PS: moser had low end stuff aswell, the frame is mint but is not like the stuff I personally would pick from them.

i agree its a 500 piece but like you said frame is *chefs kiss* nice

Univega grandtech.

This is a rare bike for commuting, looks mint, local pick up and taking offers so it could be a nice barn find like for somebody in that area....

Nice bike, but a new frame/fork is $4500. Why buy used without warranty for $4200?

ultraman6970 04-26-2020 11:34 AM

Because he wants his money back??? And probably got it for pennies in the trade for a new bike from the shop?

The frame in the listing has some custom elements in it and it’s the Drifter X model which is usually more than the regular Drifter price, but even then No22 is having a sale for all their frames so it doesn’t make any sense to pick this frame up unless it fits you like a glove, you need it now and the seller is willing to discount heavily from their asking.

d_douglas 04-26-2020 11:41 AM

That’s a nice bike and I would not buy it. Just buy it new with warranty for the same $$$$!

AngryScientist 04-26-2020 11:42 AM

only a true sucker would pay 4200 bucks at this stage for a used custom titanium bike on ebay. dont forget the sales tax, that's another 300 bucks here in NJ.

seller is delusional.

"honey, i tried to sell it, honest. i'm not going to give it away though". lol.

I bought a Lemond Croix de Fer recently. Looks like it was ridden twice. Literally has two tiny nicks in the TopTube paint which is perfect.

Got it with flatbars/shifters. Being it was ridden a handful of times at most, east to picture the possible or maybe even probable history.

Gets ridden once with drop bars, then goes back to shop for flatbar conversion, gets ridden once/twice/thrice and sits someplace climate controlled and finally sold to get out of the was for 200.00. [220.00 in truth].

hhh, the Old Lemond style aero bars. I remember when it seemed like everyone in the bike club had them. And the power that be made a rule 'no aero bars on group rides' from crashes. ;)

the flames are a bit childish but otherwise i think this is pretty darn decent. the control tech cranks are neat. the paint is just too out there for me though.

Not familiar with Majaco. Flames and some of the matching blue bits are a little over the top for me. Nice looking frame though.
