Nice looking Merckx!
Pretty nice looking EM. Love the paint. But 8 spd... a little high on the dollar amount

That Merckx has a great paint scheme, but in that condition and with that build they'll be lucky to get half of the $1500 asking.

i like the way we got trained on psa's
they mostly all go here and that's a good thing.

It is a fine looking bike in the pictures. Very nice paint scheme, but looks like a bit beat up. Components are ok, but definitely need some work. I think close up, more detailed pictures, or better, seeing it personally, would better show issues with maintenance/upkeep.

i would say this cool old lobster still has plenty of fun miles left in it.
could be a great bike for the right person. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rock-Lobste...IAAOSwq15eCSV4 https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/v8IAA...V4/s-l1200.jpg |

Sure, the Master is more desirable...but...if you want an older Colnago CX bike, you are pretty much limited to aluminum. Colnago never sold steel CX bikes to the public. They did build a few for professional racers. I have one, a mid '90s Master, and have been able to document maybe a dozen or so steel CX Colnagos made since the '70s (see Wikipedia for details). Roger De Vlaeminck raced one in the '70s. Luca Bramati raced a lugless steel CX in the mid '90s. |

I'd love to snag this bike; too bad the owner isn't interested in selling. A little market research goes a long way.
