Very friendly and VERY clean place..don't litter!!

From there ship then to Hong Kong..like a different planet..;)

OP I made the obligatory sailor visit there too - what an oasis! Somewhere I still have my souvenir Singapore Sling glass and a Tiger beer glass I five fingered from another bar.

Did my first group ride this morning. About 40 miles. Quite happy and satisfied with it.

All I can say is...thank God! for Seletar airport and the roads in the surrounding area. One of the few remaining safe havens for cyclists on this little island.

Hopefully, pictures and video will follow shortly.

mingc pal, no, I am here to visit relatives and spend Chinese New Year with them. I brought my bike along...coz' I will go crazy if I don't get on my bike for more than a week but more importantly, I will get fatter...I pretty much resigned to the fact that I will get fat...but without the bike, I will get even fatter without an avenue to burn off the extra thousands of calories consumed on a daily basis.

But you are right, it's the sauce that came with the chili crab that was perfect for dipping bread in. I like to mix it into my rice and eat it...

agreed...most roads in singapore are much narrower than those we have in the US..

weisan, you'll have to eat for me. What I wouldn't do for some nasi padang right now. Man, I miss the food. I'll just have to live vicariously through you! Safer that way, weight wise! Enjoy the rides!

You're only just north of me (Perth) ;)

Could have let you ride my Curve

Thanks for the kind offer, owly pal. There's still a chance. My brother is in Sydney, sister in Melbourne, parents in Gold Coast. I dunno when but I have a hunch I still have at least one more trip left to this part of the world.

And I thought I was the only person from Perth on here.

I had six months working over there and stayed in the Merchant Court Hotel, that had a cracking food market out the back (also not far from Hooters)
