Small Frame Max Tube

Are these small frame 52 - 54cm MAX frames overkill?

Never ridden a MAX tube bike, all my metal frame bikes are currently light weight/high strength SL, Tange Ultimate or Aluminum, BMC TR02 track bike.

The stiffest bike I currently own is a Team Miyata, I am no heavy weight 70Kg however currently considering a MAX frame but wondering if I am just looking for punishment?

Any one looking at this Grandis Over-Max frame Helmet posted? https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-...20107-217-7966

Thanks!

At 170kg you might need a bit more beef than even MAX can supply.

Sorry, fixed that, should have been 70Kg

Is this think at ebay germany?? BTW thats not what I would call small, had 3 max bikes already in that size, they are ok. Definitely rides different than columbus SL but it depends a lot of the geometry and the fit, if you fit the bicycle wrong it will ride wrong. The other thing ive noticed of all the max bikes i had is that they have stages bike type of geometry, classic european gemetry, comfortable stuff.

There is a big urban legend that a max steel bike is going to punish you and is not true. I do not know man, if you dont want yours I would love to take it but I'm broke.

Whats the center to top measurement?

Whats the length of the front tube edge to edge?

Just trying to figure it out the size of the frame.

Not my frame, it was offered in the classifieds under "PSA nice MAX bianchi" post.

I contacted Helmet the seller and he does not have a build drawing/geo chart for the frame.

Looked on the Grandis web site and looks like these are mostly made custom sized.
