Oh my!!!! A bit overpriced for the age (11 years old) and the components though.

Talked to seller. 60cm top tube. 20cm headtube. Not willing to sell as a frameset though.

Yes, it's priced high but given the condition and link to the build in the Above Category blog I think it will sell for asking or close. That bike was built right and there is no evidence it has been tampered with since the initial build.

It always puzzles me why someone would get a fitting done, get a custom sized Pegoretti, a pro build at a top shop, and only ride the bike a few times. And then leave it behind in a divorce. I wonder if it didn't fit or ride as great as the client hoped.

"My sister got it in the divorce, I bought it from my sister, cleaned it up a bit, looked it over, and now am selling it."

Another divorce bike! I'm sure the owner got it from his sister for a song. She got it out of spite in the divorce and was happy to see it go!

Above Category's key customer demographic are people who have more money than they will ever know how to spend. Someone who treats a $10,000 bike build the same way you might treat a paperback you pick up at an airport.

Lake MX 237 wide 43.5

Good deal on a new pair of shoes. My size but I just got my Luck shoes. If these weren't black I'd probably scoop them up.

Comment about the posts above concerning the Pegoretti BLE. I bought one on this forum (Serotta) in 2006 for $2600. Frame, Reynolds fork, King Headset, and a Woundup seatpost. I had wanted a new one but there were no 60's in the US via Gita.

It started out with 10 speed Record with a Record alloy crankset 2006-2009.
In early 2009, it got a mix of Record/Chorus 11.
In 2013 it got repainted by Dave Cheakas who added a FD braze-on.
In 2016, it got new Chorus (4 arm) 11 which I'm still riding.
Earlier this year I replaced the Reynolds with a Falz which rides better, IMO.

So, 13 years later it's still like a new bike.
