How to shine up Athena and Selcof Seatposts

Have 2 seatpost that need a good shine up. What is the best way to clean up and not ruin the post?

Is the Athena seat post anodized? I have some polish but says not for anodized .

Likely not. Try polishing at the post's base. You should get black residue on the rag and some shine on the post.
