I don't know what you mean, but it looks like TIG welded steel. Steelman built with steel and carbon fiber, never aluminum AFAIK.

That was a joke, I think: In the description text it says steel, but in the sidebar autofill, it says aluminum.
This STEEL bike has been on eBay for a while, and I contacted the seller a while back. He’s willing to come down lower than this $1500 if anybody is interested.

Oh, I see. Nobody looks at those fields which get auto-filled when you post an ad. Also note that the wheel size is 26in. I think CL should get rid of them.

Haha. Yea that was listed with the DT dented for the same price. They must have thought. Hey lets just take out the DT and sell it for the same price. Hmmm

I've never seen a carbon or aluminium Steelman. Brent Steelman not Aluman.
Also, those fields on craigslist aren't auto-filled, you just need to take the time to push the right buttons. Garbage in garbage out.

Totally agreed, with a name like that, why even bother with carbon? I have see one in the flesh, here is another on eBay.

Selling a beautiful lugged steel Waterford RS-22 road bike, built by the legendary steel frame builders in Waterford, WI.

Trying to trim down my bike collection, and unfortunately have to let this go. Looking to find a new owner to take care of it for years to come.
