Serotta Nova Special, about 56 cm, for $350 on NYC CL: https://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/b...910806335.html. I'm tempted myself.

I saw one of these go for $480 at the Bike Jumble this past Saturday.

Obligatory 'in nyc, can facilitate' comment.

That serotta looks ok for somebody looking for some record c parts.

Gitane Super Corsa on Austin CL

1 Attachment(s)
This looks like a nice, original example of Gitane's top model at a reasonable price:

https://austin.craigslist.org/bik/d/...894056903.html

Nice lugs, 531, and Campagnolo Record including hi-flange hubs. Classic French goodness! It's been for sale for several weeks, so they may be open to offers.

I don't know if this has been posted yet, but here are some really nice vintage bikes, including a Peter Mooney and Keith Anderson, on Burbank, CA Craigslist: https://losangeles.craigslist.org/se...serid=40007631.

The seat tube dent is a bummer and probably why the price is what it is. If you're truly going to travel and ride it hard maybe the dent gives you the o ahead to not treat it delicately.

Dude is great. I know him as well. If I wasn't getting ready to shrink the stable a bit, I'd be considering this.

What am I missing here? Seems like a good price on a 2014 frame according to Kelly's gallery. Yet this has sat on eBay for several months.

Is the dent giving everyone pause? Or is the single speed too restrictive?

I love this bike and it would fit perfectly. It's the single speed aspect that is making me shy away. When I travel I like to have a range of gearing and I can't figure out a way to make it work with that bike. Maybe internal rear hub, but that seems to be a lot of work.

Is it worth it if it were never used as a travel bike?
