Giant gravel wheelset question...
Hey folks, my local shop has a couple of Giant gravel bikes in stock in my size.
One is the aluminum Revolt 0, the other the carbon Revolt Advanced 2. There is about a $1200 (Cad) diff in price. They both share the same shifters and derailleurs. So aside from carbon frame/post, the advanced comes with the P-X2 wheels, and the Revolt 0 has the S-X2 wheels. I can't find any info on these online, even on Giants website. Can anyone speak to the differences in these? The carbon vs aluminum frame alone really isn't enough for me to justify the 1200 diff on a gravel bike, trying to see if other diffs are worth it. Thanks! |

The new PX-2 wheels are a little heavy but roll really well. SX-2 are very entry level. You turn the pedals and they go fine, but don’t expect any magic. The Giant CXR-1’s are amazing and an unsung hero of the relatively affordable carbon wheels market. |
