you forgot the diaper

now available at Competitive Cyclist.

You shouldn't ride your bike in the house anyway. Too many potholes.

To be fair. Corsa Speed tires are junk.
Had a set. Lasted a whole 100km before getting destroyed.

1) Yes, Pete. There is a Santa Claus. And tubeless is better.

2) That being said, I’ve replaced two tires in the past month that looked just like that.

3) They have both been Victoria Corsa Controls.

Clean that stuff up before it wrecks the flooring:)

Happened with my tubeless Corsas too. Controls in my case. They ride great, they just don’t seem to handle bigger cuts at all. Maybe it’s not the right sealant choice or maybe they’re just more fragile than I had hoped.

I really like tubeless a lot and have yet to go tubeless on anything smaller than 38mm. I want to do it on my 32mm road bike tires, but haven't gotten any tubeless compatible tires yet. I'm not fully convinced about running tires smaller than that tubeless.

Forget the tire failure. The fact that the liquid spooged all over everything is enough to make me swear off tubeless.

What a dumb concept.

15,000 happy tubeless miles here in the last 2 years. Flat free on GP5000 TL's.

Tubeless

Of all the tubeless tires that I have tried- Vittoria Corsa and Extralight Rene Herse have been garbage.
Specialized, Schwable Pro One, and Conti GP5000 have been pretty flawless. I run them until there is barely any tread left on back.

The funny part was I stopped yesterday 35 miles into a no cell phone zone. I'm gnashing on my fig bar and sipping water and I hear, "Pssssssssst!" I roll the hole to the ground hoping the sealant works. "Pssssssssst! And an 8" spray. I'm beginning to get nervous. Rotate it up and I up my thumb over it, and hold it for a moment. Remove thumb and no "Pssssssssst." I hope on and go! 15 miles latter and 2,000 feet of climbing I feel the tire bottom out. I stopped and the CO2 unit wasn't having it. Nada, nada thing. F!!!!! Just then a couple in a pickup pull up and ask, "Everything okay? Need some help?" Well, yes, yes I do. They are kind enough to drive me 10 miles to my car. Yes I'm 3 weeks past Pf2. I stopped by my LBS, Britton's Bikes, one of the best shops in the US, and I bought a Dynaplug kit. Time to try it out.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...60e86c4150.jpg

What a dumb concept.

If latex leaking tires are not your thing, the new new thing is these plastic
air bladders that go inside the tire, no liquid needed.
You can change tires in the house with out worrying about liquid latex all
over the floor, pretty handy. No more standing in a cold garage to change tires.
:)

What sealant?

It's right on the shoulder if the tire. It's my first flat since last September. ~5,000 miles. No complaints.
