I dont know if you do, but usually i go to the root "cycling" then stick my search keywords in there just because of this issues. I would have looked by rocklobster, that bike was going to pop at some point.

Yep, great deal if it fits you. I just built up a Paletti, wonderful bike. If this was a 56cm it'd be headed my way for this price.

One of the pedal posts would not unscrew from the frame so it was cut off. (see pic)

The guy selling it is was out of his realm for the following reasons:

1. Cut off the non-drive pedal, probably because he didn't know it's reverse threaded or care to ask for help.

2. Removed the pricey Campagnolo crank arm bolts to access the cranks, maybe lost the the bolts, and then decided to include the cranks with the sale because he couldn't remove them

3. When I emailed to ask about if the cranks were included and if the crank arm bolts are included (he must have them) he replied with a snooty response that the listing is for a frame only and any extras included are a gift. Didn't actually answer the question. Which told me he'd continue to hack away at the build with god knows what tools to remove what he could. I've seen people completely destroy those soft Campy square taper cups if they don't get good engagement on it. I've also seen people use heat to remove square taper cranks. Who know what this guy had plans to do with the frame over the week it was for sale. No thanks.

4. Listed the fork separately, which is designed for this frame, and the fork had the Chris King top cap and base plate while the frame kept the Chris King cups. He lost out on potential buyers by splitting those up. Do you even want to guess if he kept the Reynolds brake nut with the fork? Haha, doubt it.

The lack of care or finesse just bums me out. Hopefully someone won both the frame and fork and can rescue those Campy cranks!

His father is probably rolling in his grave.

I was really hoping all those defects you mentioned would scare off enough people to end below $400. The $120 shipping is rather killer regardless.
