Bontrager Cross sleeper
The listing is a bit lacking, which could make for a deal.

eBay coupon for labor day weekend. Any other current specials? I'm seeing deals on sunglasses but trying to resist.

I’d be having a crack at that if Piermont allowed international bidding

Small Eriksen road frame. Looks well used, no affiliation.
BIN $1399 w/free shipping https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kent-Erikse...-127632-2357-0 https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7d466b1faa.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
His and hers Peter Mooneys. Joe Bell paint. Big one is 58.5tt and 185mm HT. Didn't measure the small one, but wild guess is 54cm-ish.
Big one appears to have been ridden hard and put away wet. Small one is in better shape. 9s Dura Ace on the large, 9s Ultegra on the small. At Trips for Kids Recyclery in San Rafael CA. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...423797fd83.jpg |

Asking $1100 for the large, didn't ask about the small.
Definitely some oxidization on the big one, both frame and parts. Small one is in better shape, but I did not inquire on prices. The large would be a project, most parts would be binned, maybe the wheels (Ksyriums) and shifters could be salvaged. Small probably could be ridden as is, or make a very nice retro-mod with new parts. Disclaimer: these are not mine, call the shop for details. I simply was surprised to see two Mooneys on the rack, not typical!!! |
NO one take notice of the two SEVEN's parked next to the Mooneys.

Note: John Knowles is the seller A friend I can pickup has he doesn't like to ship and take to a local bike shop for shipping Eddy Merckx 1984 58cm Signed. - $2,000 (danville / san ramon) For sale is a 1984 Eddy Merckx vintage racing bike. It is in original paint with a full Campagnolo Super Record kit which is also original to the bike. I purchased this bike from the original owner, and have just completed a refresh. No dings or dents, nor evidence of any damage. Typical nicks and scratches. When overhauling BB and HS I was able to look into the frame and it looked great, with no internal rust. In 1984 Eddy Merckx visited local bike shops to promote his bicycles, if you were fortunate enough at this time you could have bought one, and he would have hand signed it. This is one of those relatively rare bikes. This one was signed at Bicycle Outfitters in Northern California. The signature is still in good shape considering it was signed over 37 years ago. See picture. The frame is stamped 58 and the serial number indicates that it is a 1984. The rear derailleur and crank set are date coded 1984 too. It has the Team Issue Faema paint scheme on a Professional frame. Size details: 58 cm Center to Center, 59 C-T, 57 cm Top Tube c-c, Head tube 155mm. Parts: Campagnolo HS, SP(Pantographed), BB, CS 172.5 (Dated84), RD(Dated84’), FD, Shift levers, Hubs and Skewers, and Brake Set (new repo hoods). Saddle Ideale Model 2002 from the 80’s (pretty beat up BUT worth keeping and using-rare). Cinell Bars 66-42 and Stem 115. Look PP66 pedals, Mavic GP-4 Tubular rims with New Tires. New cables ,new housing, new chain, and new bar tape. $2000 cash , trade, or trade plus cash considered. IF POSTING IS ACTIVE THE BIKE IS AVAILABLE. US Shipping is also an option. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik...367494427.html |
