I really wish that too tube looked better. Chips I don’t mind but that is a bit much. Still seems a nice deal though! Keep the NE PSA coming.

Vanilla, Speedvagen Road Bike, 54 cm, Enve, Chris King, Dura Ace Di2 - $5,500
This is a Vanilla Workshop, Speedvagen Custom Road Bike. I originally purchased the bike in 2015, I had an issue with the original frame and Speedvagen warrantied and built me a new one in 2021.

This is the “new” rebuilt bike. The frame is new, never ridden, the components have about 2.5 - 3K miles on them. All in excellent condition. The drive side crank has some scratches from shoe rub. The frame color is dark industrial grey, in ghost scheme. The components are Shimano Dura Ace Di2, ENVE and Chris King.

This frame is steel with a carbon seat tube. As pictured the bike weighs 15.87 lbs.

The frame can only run electric groups and was built with internal battery customization and wiring. It is a beautiful bike and fast. Excellent climber. I’m selling as I have another road bike and need the room in the garage.

For reference, I’m 5’10“ with a 31” pant inseam. The bike saddle height is 739mm (center BB to top of saddle.) Sizing: see below for the exact frame specs.

Important to note (from Speedvagen:) Every Speedvagen has an integrated seat mast sized specifically for the owner. The integrated seat mast has a seat post head at the top of a stainless shim, which attaches the saddle to the frame. Your saddle height will have 15mm of adjustability to it.

This bike was $10K in 2015. Today, you probably could not get this bike for a year (components not available) and it would cost $12 - 15K.

Here is your chance to pick up a no compromise bike, available now, at a fraction of the new price.

Also, included three extra, new, tires and the Di2 charger.

Shipping: I will ship via Bike Flights. The price listed is an estimate. Contact me for specific pricing - you can also pick up locally.

If you say so

This bike was $10K in 2015. Today, you probably could not get this bike for a year (components not available) and it would cost $12 - 15K.

Just offer it up, your historical pricing is a bit um..

I also enjoyed this combination of sentences:
  1. The frame is new, never ridden …
  2. It is a beautiful bike and fast. Excellent climber.
I suppose the second is reasonable based on this being a replacement, but still how can you characterize its performance when you've never ridden it?

Don't think ride characteristics change that much if the builder, geo and parts of the frame are the exact same. But yes, technically the seller cannot be 100% sure of their opinion if the frame is unridden

When the Godfather of US custom frame builders wanted to get into a production cycle, Albert Eisentraut created The Limited conceived as a lower-cost, more complete alternative to the Eisentraut No. 1. Production began in 1975 in the hands of Bruce Gordon, who opened shop on his own a year or so later. There is no serial number, but the sloping fork crown and clip-on hardware would indicate a 1975 or 1976. It is in excellent original condition with very minor blemishes.
Cash only, local delivery preferred. (I can help with that Charles)
