The fork is Reynolds 531. The frame is Columbus Tenax.

Reynolds 531? I'm seeing a Columbus sticker on that frame.

Don't discount the ride quality of a Tenax tubed frameset. Had a bunch of them over the years (below pic of recently resprayed Tempo with DA 7700) and they are among my personal favorite all-day riders.

Larger question is what happened to the original fork? And isn't that a little tall for you, Angry?

Think you're right, tho- sale is for the fork, not a frameset.

Nothing sexy but a good deal on something useful for us tube-using Luddites. 100g on my scale.
On Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Continental-R...s%2C241&sr=8-4

mhespenheide 07-29-2021 09:48 PM

^^^
Heads-up that there are other good deals through Amazon on Continental tubes in other sizes, averaging ~$5 per tube. Try this search:
https://smile.amazon.com/s?k=contine...ref=nb_sb_noss.

For those looking for larger-volume tubes than the 18-25mm that @Steve_in_SLO lists, here's a 4-pack of 25-32mm for ~$21: https://smile.amazon.com/Continental...7613081&sr=8-5

Steve, thanks for the link!

I have a 1974 Kobe Cobra 1021 Hi-ten Steel. It rides like a dream. Maybe because gravity has a strong attraction to it. ;)

But very well made and has Suntour forged dropouts, which is what caused me to fork over 60.00 for the f/f/hs.
