Certainly questionable, here is a claimed Della Santa LeMond which looks to be with the same fork, however you are correct it appears like he did prefer to build with flat crown forks.

Lemond GAN
1 Attachment(s)
another interesting Lemond....this time a 61cm GAN team bike, randomly w/a Serotta fork. Sticker says "Acier Steel", so looks like it's a GLX build, but odd ad as several of the detailed pics are clearly from the internet and may not be details on this bike....but the bike for sale appears to have a number hanger, which I know is attractive for some.

Serotta Coeur d'Acier
1 Attachment(s)
....continuing with the "acier" theme from the Lemond above: this one has been on FB marketplace in LA for a while and he just dropped the price to $1300 (local pickup only).
Serotta Coeur d'Acier Sierra Nevada bike w/DA 7800. I've always wanted one of these (albeit in a bigger size). Pre-Enve EDGE fork. No number tab and some funky geo from the days of hugely sloping TT's. Judging by the boatload of spacers/riser stem combo and mile of seatpost I'd guess this didn't fit the seller particularly well. He has some spectacularly bad pictures, but here's the best of the lot. OP's ad copy: Serotta Pro Team Racing Bike: Coeur d' Acier -Chromoly Frame: Columbus Tubing -Full Dura-Ace Groupset -Top tube Length: 57.8 cm (effective) -Seat Tube Length (center of BB to center of TT): 49 cm -FSA Bar and Stem Kit -Thompson Seatpost -Seat not included -Bike must be picked up |

Nice find...!!!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ritchey-Roa...torefresh=true *Rare* Ritchey Road Logic Heritage In 2018, Ritchey released a limited number of 100 Road Logic frames painted in the classic Ritchey red, white, and blue paint scheme. Each frame was numbered and painted in their factory in Taiwan. This is an extremely rare frame that was painted, and signed, by Rick Stefani of D&D Cycles, the original frame painter for all classic Ritchey bikes. I'm selling because it's not the right fit and collector's item or not, this bike deserves to be out on the road. Includes frame, Ritchey carbon fork, and Ritchey headset. Standard Road Logic geo (look up the charts for all details), main specs below: TT effective: 563 TT actual: 551 ST (c-t): 525 ST and HT angle: 73.5ยบ Stack/Reach: 568/395 57mm steerer tube remains I've heard they can clear up to 32c tires, but I only ran 28s. |

1981 Colnago Super Frame & Fork / Campagnolo Headset - $800 (Pawtucket, RI) 1981 Colnago Super Frameset 56 cm / Campagnolo Headset I've owned this frameset for over 12 years, and most of that time is has been on the shelf. Formerly built up with Campy Nuovo & Super Record components. Paint is chipped in some spots, and I believe the previous owner repainted the top tube, but the integrity of the frame is still great. Stickers are also wearing off in some spots. Chrome fork with clover stamps on the crown. Classic Colnago cutout on the bottom bracket as well. Headset bearings were just replaced and this beast is ready to be rebuilt. I'm also selling the full Campy Super/Nuovo Record groupset it was formerly built up with. 56cm TT 57cm CTC Seat post diameter - 27.0mm Rear dropout clearance - 126mm Fork dropout clearance - 100mm https://providence.craigslist.org/bo...288974518.html |
