:confused::confused::confused:

Hardly any of my bikes are 54. 55 and 56 are the norm for me. Although I'll ride from 53-57 for sure. Not a big deal.

I think the only 54's I still have are the De Rosa, Opus III and Ventoux.

I do think folks get too worked up over the perfect size thing myself. As long as my saddle height and setback in relation to the BB are good and then the reach to the bars from the saddle center are good, I'm good. I'm not racing and trying to eke out the last watt of power or anything. I'm riding to have fun and enjoy as much variety in the experience as I can. :)

Well the 53 was a Lemond Tourmelet that I moved on this year, so the top tube was longer. Same pretty much with the 54 Ventoux I've kept.

Both of the XL's are 56's. Thanks, I love how the new one turned out but the rear is noisy like it wants to jump a gear. Need to check the RD hanger, I think it's a bit out of alignment.

Super nice frame but the asking price IMO is tad high based in the size... wont be a super fast sale at all.

the top tube is 1cm too long for me. might consider limb lengthening surgery.

I'm watching!

Well.... this is sitting in front of me right now.

I can confirm that it is a beautiful frame. A few small paint chips but man is the rest of the paint is awesome shape. The green highlights and "decals" have a wonderful metallic sheen. This thing came packed better than any bike or frame I ever received. 5 lbs 10 ozs as pictured with the headset and other hardware on it. Figure the headset and other bits have to be at least 4 ozs so a 5 lbs 6 ozs frameset is certainly very respectable.

I don't think these frames are very well known in the US.
I had a gorgeous one with EL tubes with gothic lugs. Was listed as 54 square, but had a 56cm TT. I just couldn't get comfortable on it. Shorter stem was no help, possibly worse with a quicker front end.
At least I sold it for what I paid. New owner was as googly eyed as I was.

Hope it works for you. It's a beauty! Congrats!

sorry, supposed to be quoting

Copy and paste doesn't quite work for quoting. I must be missing something.

Had to Google Dr. Deltron... looks like the dude got tired of dealing with difficult people... sad because looks like his paint jobs were pretty nice.
