Bike purchase advice?!

Hi Paceliners,

I've got an opportunity to buy a Colnago AC-R for cheap. I rode it and it fits well and I liked the ride characteristics. Not a terribly high end spec, but solid.

Currently I have a Lynskey Cross, a Pegoretti Duende (see Speedvagen thread for that decision fun), and a Lemond spine bike from the early aughts (Zurich).

I'm thinking of sending the Lemond to my folks' place to which I travel a few times a year and "replacing" it with the Colnago.

So...always a smart thing to ask on a bike board: would you all go for the Colnago?

Anyone owned an AC-R? Been happy with it?

I don't need another bike, of course... :bike:

This is an easy one. Yes! You don't have a carbon bike in the line up, you have a useful plan for the Lemond and the Nago is "cheap" in your words. Not their Italian made line of course buts it's a Colnago. It fits well and you like the ride. Don't think you can go wrong.

Isn't the answer to "should I buy a bike?" always yes?

I don't understand the question.

Whenever I form those words into a sentence, it comes out like this:

"I should buy a bike!"

And it's worked out pretty well so far! :)
