And where the heck were those photos taken?! Come on, you can't keep it a secret.
My guess is California during a nice wet spring...

Took out the Giro d' Italia tribute bike today for 20 miles around the valley.

Local reservoir is filling up nicely.

More Dandelions than grass

When I got back I hopped right on the Holdsworth Professional and took it out for a shakedown ride. I had switched this back to a normal drop bar setup the night before.

This 70's bike clears 700 x 30's just fine and has room for several more mm's of tire.

New local building that was resourced from an old building miles away

Valley is greening up but snows come back tomorrow

Great pics again! I’ll take a guess: Briones? Second guess: somewhere around Morgan Territory/Black Diamond.

P.S. you have to start posting some of your gravel routes. I’m ready to anoint you the Forum’s “gravel king.”

Its beauty was a reminder of what a treasure we as New Yorkers have in the Adirondack Park. The gates at either end of Piseco-Powley Road were still closed, so we had the road all to ourselves and the ability to ride as we pleased, taking in the expansive views available at this 1900-foot altitude where the trees were still bare and the only spring flowers blooming yet were the small yellow Coltsfoot along the road. With stops to talk, enjoy the scenery, and explore one short backwoods side road to the Watauga Club gate, we spent almost five hours to go 26 miles. But it was time well spent to get outdoors in the mid-50’s to mid-60’s temps and under skies that started out overcast, but ended up sun-drenched by the time we finished at 3pm. A great day! Silent Sunday at South Mountain in Phoenix.

No cars allowed on Sunday mornings, so it's just perfect.

Bailed on the century I was going to do yesterday because of the rain, but got out for a nice 3 hours today.

Good eye! It is at Sunol Regional Wilderness.

You missed a hell of a century if you're referring to the Wine Country Century. Brutal 5.5 hours of rain at 41 degrees when I checked. I and many others weren't prepared for that temperature and long rain.

Yup. I love that ride, but I was checking the forecast throughout the week, and each time it I checked it looked worse than before.

Ultimately, it seemed like a guarantee to be miserable--not just the ride itself, but even the drive up that morning, and I decided to stay home. I don't regret my choice, but it's really a bummer that we have about 6 hours of rain all month, and they all fall in the morning of the ride.
