Did you buy that when you were 19 then?

I ordered that custom frame in early 1972, with Sheldon Brown's help, from a person who put together an order with Bob Jackson for 4-5 frames, and built each bike up complete with components. I was 18 when it appeared in July 1972.

Thanks, Steve! Since this thread is my only regularly updated outlet on social media you're getting a very curated version of it, heh. I mostly ride my bike to work and every day I do I'm genuinely surprised I make it back in one piece. Any riding on the weekend better be fun as hell, no suffering..
I've run the cycling gamut from shaved leg, weird diet days to shirtless freak in huaraches mode (where I'll stay indefinitely). I used to be in really great shape but even back then I was still kind of a ****bird. Damn I miss that tarmac!
