Dave,

Just seeing this, oh man. I wish I had practical advice but I don't. So, so sorry to hear this happended. I know you have a supportive family so that helps I'm sure. If there's anything you need or that we can help with let me know. We come down to visit Ian in Bend on occasion and happy to come through Eugene and help with anything!

My Mother had a stroke when she was 82 and she recently turned 88. Sharp as people 1/2 her age, very aware of world events and her finances, and very tech savvy, in terms of the web, online services and communicating with family and friends. The toughest part for her was to recapture her mobility, and she worked very diligently with her PT’s and OT’s to gain back what she could…not 100% by any means, but well enough to be in an independent living community.

Nothing but good karma sent your way and keep the faith.

so sorry to read this GM. Why is the PT against you riding the stationary bike?

Is he against pool work? Have heard locally a few guys did well with hydrotherapy and including sauna.

Promise him you won't overdo it and ask again.

Don't be a stranger!

All the best to you for a full recovery. One day at a time, my friend.
