This type of fork mount stand is exactly what the mechanics have been forced into using for now but there are issues.. what happens when you want to run DI2 through the BB and turn the bike upside down? What about adjusting front disc calipers and rotors? What about TT bikes with under BB brakes? The fragile carbon frame and seat post is a tricky issue these days when it comes to the work stand. This seems like a pretty good solution. I just hook the nose of my saddle on the park stand these days for almost all of my repairs but this does not work well for building a frame from scratch.
