I use one to run 10sp Shimano wheels with otherwise 10sp Campy drivetrains. I've been satisfied with the performance.

Don't use them myself, but have never read about anyone who wasn't pleased with their performance.

Works well, needs a full length cable to accommodate the wrap.

also requires you to cut the RD housing short for it to work!

Non-proprietary solution to bridge the proprietary world-conquering methodologies of the big 3.
It's a little piece of plastic that works for brake pull issues as well.
Shh, don't tell anyone.
One guy gets sick, practical solutions go out the window.

I've been using one for a year and half on one bike and a half year on another. 7800 10-speed shifters with 7800 derailleur and 9-speed SRAM cassette.)
Once installed, it's required no more adjustments than you would expect from a straight setup. You're replacing the friction of a 180 degree loop of cable housing with the friction of a cartridge bearing. I'll take that deal any day.

I'm curious as to why you're not running 10 gears? All 9 spd freehubs should be able to take 10, no?
