Beautiful day here in Western Mass: temps all the way to the 60s--no jacket, no gloves, knickers ended up to warm!, no hat. 90 minutes of riding and then baseball with the kids, great day.

I was slow getting out on the bike this morning. Should have been out 1t 7:00 a.m., but stalled until 9:00 so only had time for 20 miles before work appointment. Got to work and appointment got cancelled 2 minutes after it was scheduled to start.

Going to head home in a little bit but evening riding looks bleak - rain and thunderstorm predictions. Might try a little close to home. Was supposed to be 80 today and barely broke 60.

Tried to beat the rain here in Socal. Got 22 miles in on the trails and got rained on for about half of them. Great riding day in the cold and rain. I'm really liking my Cannondale flash carbon 29er.

Cold here....about 34 plus a 15 mph wind out of the North! Did a couple of hours on the road. Came back and sat in the sauna. Great way to end the ride!

It was a perfect cold weather ride day. 33deg, no wind, no rain, and no cars to speak of just the sound of tires on the pavement. Came home to home made smokey tomato bacon soup and a brownie and milk yum.

Yep, southern New England sure had a beauty today! First weekend day I've been out in awhile without bib tights and full fingered gloves. Rolled out with 49 degrees and saw 62 by my return. I don't think we're going to see many more of these this year....

I'm now ready for ski season :)

It was a cool and dark start at 5:20 this morning, but managed to squeeze in 48 miles by 8am.

Went out about 8 AM for 30 miles. About half on 14' wide trails, and half on rural road with some rolling hills. Easy riding. High 60's when I went out, high 70's low 80's when I got home. Low Humidity for Florida. Perfect weather here in Central Florida this AM.

Next to last cross race of the season for me.

60 degrees, breezy, fun race with the exception of the one miscue that cost me two spots. :crap:

Beautiful day in Westchester. I did ten miles on the mountain bike in Graham Hills. I'm wiped. Mountain biking is hard work!

2 hours out on the trails with some friends. With all the leaves obscuring the rocks n roots it made for some interesting riding..

As Jack had stated, sunny Calif turned rainy today, really hammering at times. I chose to stay in and begin the Herculean task of organizing the garage. Got about 5% of it done, so it was a success!

An hour and a half on my fixed gear, then about five miles of barefootish running...great day for a workout, felt in tune.

I did the Paluxy Pedal 60 mile route on Saturday. It was a perfect day for riding - started out around 60 and got up into the high 70's. My family provided support for me and a group of five riders. With intermittent rain yesterday, I didn't get my recovery ride until this morning.

I was a little hurtin' from a late night out at a wedding, but there was no way I as going to be lazy and miss riding in this gorgeous not-so-Novermerish weather. My wife and I headed out on a very leisurely 90-minute ramble - with shorts - me on the 'cross bike. Funny how a lot of rides lately have been very leisurely....

I got to wondering how the 'cross racers (not me) have had very atypical weather for their races here in the NE.

Roads were wet and slippery in spots here, with temps in the upper 20s to low 30s, but fortunately not much wind. Ended up doing 22 miles on a redundant several circuits over a stretch of road that was mostly dry and didn't have much traffic. Despite the redundancy, beats the heck out of staying in on the trainer.
