Wow...long title kinda says it all!

I have a big Nitto front touring rack as seen here (http://www.rivbike.com/product-p/r5.htm)

I'd like to have a dedicated light mount added so I can smartly affix my Edelux (or Supernova) headlight to the rider's left as to be as visible as I can (I'm a shift worker and commute often at night).

I've jimmy rigged a previous mount (on another Nitto rack) and though it works quite well it just didn't look quite well.

Anyways, if you know of a frame buider/rack buider who'd be able to help me out please let me know.

I'm in cold Chicago.

PS - Next custom rig MUST come with custom racks! :)

Keep in mind that the Nitto rack's nickel plating needs to be removed in the heat affected zone around the braze/weld. Finishing the mod probably involves partial/full re-plating (costly in the US these days), or (b) painting the new/exposed metal (inexpensive, but visible). I build custom racks, and a fixed light mount is standard fare, but this is a case where I'd recommend a small armature which bolts/clamps onto what you have.

Cheers,
Tom
