Reminds me of stupid photos of pets dressed up in doll clothes. Is that a racing bike hidden underneath all that stuff?

Not at that price, even with the chain guard.

I saw a Dream the other day with the drop bars rotated up DUI style.
No phone on me, though, so I guess it didn't happen.

I dunno, this seems fine to me. This is a bike first and a Colnago second so it doesn't come across as an abomination to me. The only thing I would have done differently for this bike is adapted MTB type index shifters up on the handlebars.

To go all bike nerdy for a moment, the geometry of a Colnago makes it a pretty good candidate for the Amsterdam affect.

If the Wizard of Oz was made in Italy, that's what the Wicked Witch of the West would have been riding. (Dah-na-na, Dah-na-na, dunt-dunnah, dah-na-na....).

Good thing that frame is aero so you can commute faster. It would be MINE if the chainguard was pantographed!

Seriously, the Oval CX is so weird. I'm a huge Colnago fan (and good lord, that is my size too!!!) but that is some goofy $#@!. Check the (20mm???) seat post- it appears to sit at a different angle than the seat tube, no? The BB shell looks to be sourced from a Transformers robot. Maybe it IS a Transformer and it changes into a C35 for battle?

Any idea how the fenders have clearance on that frame? At first I thought the dropout adjuster bolts had just been backed out as far as possible, but then I noticed that they're just extremely long and the axle is at a normal position. Is it running 18c tires or something to allow room for the fender? What about the fender mounts on the stays and the fork... Did someone just drill and tap there or did Colnago do a mod? Or does that frame have a completely nonstandard rear end with longer chainstays?

Has Bikesnob NYC done a piece on this yet? Kind of reminds me of "highly specialized: the right tool for the job" (http://bikesnobnyc.blogspot.com/2008/09/i-am-highly-specialized-right-tool-for.html)
