the McGiver approach to fenders when you got no eyelets:

think his explanation is not so clear, but these look kinda cool.

Germany: cars, beer, BMW's, fenders.

Those look awesome! Sadly, as they are mounted through your existing road brake hole, it does not look like they can work with CX frames (cantis) which is too bad. I'd love longer fenders on one of my cross frames that I usually ride with 28 slicks as a dirt road frame.

It's not about the bike.

Nice design. Now if they could only make the same in 45mm.

No kidding. Forum seems 'grumpy', these days, even some of the mods. Beginning winter doldrums?

Nice fenders tho..wish I could find them. For the ? about a cross frame, do you have a bridge between the seat stays? You could use that to mount the 'reach-around'.

So you ditch the QR springs and mount the stays in their place?

What are the springs for anyway?

Center QR to make wheel install easier.

keeping you skewers centered for when you're putting the wheel back in so that the dropouts don't hit the skewer itself and you have a nice slot to put er in.

Sounds like nothing, but if you've ever lost a spring....
