Quick question to those riding Northwaves, do they run large, small or true? I wear 45-46 in Specialized, found some 44s locally, trying to find if its worth the drive.

I'm a 42 in regular shoes and wear a 42 Sidi. I wore 42 NWs as well. From my experience, you are pushing your luck

I was wearing a 45.5 in Specialized and am now wearing a 45 in Northwave. Though they felt a little tight at first, they fit perfectly now. I really like the shoes.

I have no idea what "normal" is for a bike shoe.
I take an 11 1/2 in a street shoe (45 or 46) but a 47 in Sidi or Shimano bike shoe. I've recently acquired Northwave Fahrenheit 48s to allow for winter weight socks and an insole. They work perfectly. So would guess they run to the same sizing as Sidi with a slightly larger toe box.

My experience is that they run true to size in length and are a bit wider than many other cycling shoes.

46 in Sidi. 45.5 in NW. Plus NW has a wider toebox.

They run a bit wider than specialized. Northwaves are great shoes. The only negative is they have a crappy buckle system compared to sidi and giro shoes. I would look at the giro factor, lighter with a much better buckle system.

Appreciate the tips, not gonna waste the time, my 45 Specialized push the limits on the small size for me.
