here's a change of pace for all those, like me, who are worn down a bit from all the bad news lately

this isn't necessarily a college football story so much as insight into one of the good people out there.

keep in mind that he gave up a football scholarship at nebraska to go to yale (which offers no sports scholarships) and is paying out the a$$ in tuition

He may not be paying that much if his family situation exhibits "need" and he qualifies for financial assistance. One of my wife's former students chose Yale over other schools where she was accepted and it cost her less because Yale has sufficient endowment to offer bigger scholarships to prospective students. This girl LOVES her whole experience at Yale even though the weather isn't like her home town of La Jolla.

Both mother and father are commercial airline pilots and are paying 55,000 annually. (that's gotta include room and board)
