Finally, I did it. I needed a recovery ride and so I went 33 miles this morning, of which 31 miles was the warm-up. HR under 130 nearly all the time, the only time it was over 145 was on the one hill where you need to keep up with the cars and when a goose in charge of a big herd of geese started striding purposefully my way.
Finally, some self discipline.
And I really enjoyed myself, too.
