It wasn't cheap Viagra was it? I've been looking out for the discount code for ages.

Below are the steps for repair work

1 Dealer or Owner calls and get an RA (Return Authorization)
2 Frame sent to Serotta for evaluation and estimate
usually takes at least a week to be sent and placed in work schedule for
evaluation,
3, Which is usually another week, Dealer and Customer decide how to
proceed
++++++++++ The above is usually two weeks based on time of year and interaction among customer/dealer/Serotta

4. RA, is tracking number for the entire process. and on approval by Customer and Serotta, it is placed
within the work schedule.
THe work schedule already has new bikes, and
other repair bikes in it. THey mostly are first come first done basis,
5 Once frame work is done, it is placed in Paint Queue, based again on first come first done, as well as what is needed

If you check with other quality repair and/or paint shops you will see it is a "Months" process and not a week or a single month. Pick a few quality shops and get their estimate in time and price.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and no I do not know your work order or name so I can not be more specific.

The dealer should be interacting with Serotta per their contract as a dealer.

The unhappy poster should be dealing with dealer or calling Ben Serotta or even sending him a letter via dealer. (I am assuming the Ottrott was from dealer and is not second hand from someone else - so the dealer and Serotta have records.)

Forum is not a place to do this concern for we are not employees and thus do not have access to the work schedule.

Sorry to be the bearer of this but any quality painter or repair site takes months...(yes I will bet a bottle of red on that)

I have no clue what the thread was about but I'm glad to see more threads being completely deleted.

The mods should feel free to do it more. It is a VERY common occurance on most other forums.
