if there is a better reason to blow off an afternoon of work, i dont know what it is...

this is why i love the fall, with the random warm, gorgeous afternoons. since my Serotta is OOC, i pulled the go-fast bike out of the basement and blasted 30 miles through the local streets and throroughly enjoyed the beautiful weather yesterday - anyone else?

Beautiful day yesterday (sorry, no pics). Today? Rain. Tonight? 3 inches of snow.

It's begun.

Sigh.

We're having tornados, earthquakes and torrential rains all in the space of a few hours. You just gotta love Oklahoma weather.

the bianchi looks smaller than it is, it's a size 50, virtual top tube is about 53. its super sloping geometry though, so it looks tiny.

pictures are taken near my house in montclair NJ.

nice pics Nick! I love and hate that we are about the same size and you have gotten some nice additions to the stable!

Weather looks even nicer today and tomorrow, get out and get some!

Great pics, but please size 'em down! I'd need a 60" monitor to see the whole thing! :help: :p

It was warmer there than Phoenix yesterday.

I took the day off but will ride this afternoon.

Enjoy the weather!

Nice looking bike!

Absolutely stellar day today, and like AS, I decided the best thing to do was to take full advantage of it by getting a decent ride in. Got in a 2.5 hour ride at noon, and the hardest part was walking back thru the door into work.
Remember this day.
Hope you were able to get out today,
Murph

The bay area went from 75 last week to 40-50 this week.

I just wish I had the kind of job that would allow me to leave for 2.5 hours in the middle of the day to ride... :crap:

I just got in from 4:11 on the bike. Riding with a French Cat 1 buddy who's back in town for a bit. Nice little toodle for him. Decent ride for the rest of us.

I'm glad you got out, good for you. It wasn't nearly as nice here. I rode about 45 miles Sunday, it was 55 but pretty gloomy. Today windy and rainy, looks like I need to ride to the PO before it closes, as the mailman didn't pick up my mail and liberace will be wanting his part. Pic is from Sunday's ride.

This morning it was warm enough to ride at 9am! I went to work at noon. Despite the snow last week, it seems like the foliage has stayed around a long time this fall.
