I have seen some in person and read many reviews of them at RBR.

Great deal, great ride, jump on it. I might get one just because it's cheap.

That's tempting, my question is that they say there is an additionally 15% that will come off making the frame/fork combo about $90. But I put them in my cart and didn't see the discount.

As you check out the discount appears. I have it up right now and it is $112.59 with tax and shipping!

Steel--maybe--aluminum--a definite no. Geometry and fit are very important--for me anyway.

Here is a great thread on RBR that has lots of pics. Some great, some hideous.

I have one of these frames hanging in my basement. It's too big for me or I'd build it into a winter bike.

Seems sturdy enough, plenty of clearance for fenders, it's straight, and comes with three bottle bosses. The welds are clunky but sturdy enough, paint is cheap but present and accounted for. It comes with a plastic cable guide that screws into the underside of the BB shell and a derailer hanger that needs to be mounted. Does not come with a seat tube collar.

be sure you check the geometry. Seems a trend I have noticed of cheap aluminum frames having top tubes longer than their seat tubes. The frame I have is a 58 seat tube and 59 top tube.
