i've started a thread for reference in the Catalog section titled "Serial Numbers Decoded". I've wanted to get this going for a while to keep there as a reference to find quickly. i drew info from a few sources, but i need you experts to go there and check it out, and give me input to make the thread as good and accurate as possible.
go check it out, and provide input if you can!

This really needed to be done, glad you started it. We need everyone with a Serotta (if they are sure of the model) to post the serial letter codes.
Also, if you have a bike with one of the older all numbers serials, we need to see as many of those as possible. Especially nice would be frames purchased new, so we can sort out the (evidently) 2 seperate numbering systems used in the 1980s.
