Are there big differences between 2010 11 sp Record compared to 2011? I found a good deal on a 2010 groupset and am wondering if there are any compelling reasons to see if I can find a 2011 group.

No, not on Record, no big differences. Get the 2010, functionally the same.

isnt that when they made the jump to the red graphics on the brake lever blade. minor change, but it is one change.

it's also when athena and below got moved to "power-torque" which is inferior to their previous ultra-torque, but that doesnt affect Record.

Yes there are some differences between 2010 and 2011 Campagnolo. Some are so slight it probably doesn't make a difference. If you send me a PM I can forward a PDF from Campy illustrating the differences in the Super Record, Record, Chorus and Athena lines from those years. If there is a way to attach the PDF to this thread let me know.
