way way OT: side by side refrigerator w/o ice maker??

Amazing how much faith I have in this forum and its members... so who can tell me if there is any such thing these days as a side by side refrigerator w/o the g--d--- stupid icemaker? Looking for one with the freezer on left side and frig on right side, but w/o the icemaker taking up half the freezer space.

the thought of going back to a fridge without an icemaker with front dispenser makes me almost want to cry. it's just so convenient, i couldnt do without it on a night to night basis.

i hear you on the space thing though, the wife and i are going to invest in a stand-along freezer for our basement though to keep bulk frozen items.

All of the ice making apparatus is removeable from most freezers. I took mine out of a side by side Kenmore.
