Cold and rainy here, pretty slimy out - no ride. Don't mind the rest, really.

It was nice, that's all i can say. :p 45 miles, low 80s, a bit warm, breezy. Brought the camera but the battery in the charger at home, so no pics, sorry.

wind:
with you...chilly
against...downright cold!

on the commute to work on the kirk crosser...27 degrees, 15 degree chill
gorgeous morning arrived to work enthusiastic and feeling well
to celebrate 5 weeks to the day of my surgery...dress shirt and tie

noon...lakeshore drive...sweetness on the speedvagen and subway lunch
a balmy 37 degrees and wind chill 31 in bib shorts and a jacket.

can't wait to ride home...may include some offroad/gravel miles
wonder which way the kirk will take me?? i suppose it depends on
whether or not i change back into riding clothes or not
...or if a riding partner shows up...

Cold, gloomy and very windy (40 MPH gusts). 32 miles with a little bit of everything: cross/head/tail winds.

Wasn't really in the mood to go but glad I got out. Up here in the frozen north it's only going to get worse, and soon at that.

1:40 on rollers... :(

Tried the Garmin 500's "Speedplay" training course thing. Probably wouldn't have lasted over an hour otherwise.

Pretty much sucked. Looked like the rain had cleared, got dressed, got on the bike and made it about 1/2 mile before the skies opened. Rode home, wet, dried bike, showered, became lazy for the rest of the day.

20 single track single speed miles last evening. Kinda of a eerie ride when I ran into the fish and game biologist with his tracking antenna. He wouldn't say much except everything was OK which means he's tracking a mountain lion close by. I was on alert mode throughout the ride.
