I was out for a morning cruise with 2 cyclocross races on tap for tomorrow.
This was good for an old guy's ego... :hello:
It is a BEAUTIFUL New England day today, bright sun, not a cloud to be seen, the surf was up on Gloucester's Back Shore after last night's storm, and there is a 20 mph wind blowing right down the road.
An older driver pulls out in front of me (they had plenty of room) and proceeds down the road at the posted 25mph limit. With a whopping tail wind I am pretty much flying along in violation of said 25mph limit and I close up on her back bumper. :bike:
I am not tailgating but I am close enough that when she looks in her mirror and realizes I am there she basically guns it to about 35+ and disappears down the road.
Can't trust them bikers you know..... :rolleyes:
