I’m currently running 9speed Record on my Serotta with the standard 52/39 chain rings. I’d like to have a 50/34 compact setup by just changing out the chain rings. The compact 135 BCD rings are very hard to find. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket source???

Campagnolo and TA rings are very easy to find in 135mm BCD. BUT 135mm BCD means the smallest small ring you can use is a 39t.

You can put a 10s or even 11s compact with your 'system' and it will work just fine w/o any modification to chainrings or chains or anything else. Plug and play. Shorten the chain(probably), lower the FD-go ride.

Thank you very much.... :)

My Hampsten has 9 spd. Campy except for 50-34 Ritchey compact cranks and it all works very well.

Ritchey is quite a bit cheaper too... :)

I have a Ritchey WCS compact on my 9 speed Cervelo Prodigy. Works like a charm. If you get this crankset make sure that it is not one of the ones subject to the recall or, if it is, Ritchey will replace the left arm without charge. Also, check the torque several times after installation.
