Anyone got any recs. It cant be huge, and I would like it to fit about 3 bikes.

One of which is a cruiser that takes up a bunch of room with its basket and stuff.

The yard is not too big, so thing cant be massive.

ANyone have any experience with something like this:

What about this, with bike upright:

the rubbermaid ones are decent, but not very secure...

what's very important for any "shed" typed thing is what you put it on, the surface really needs to be flat and level for you to have good luck, a concrete pad is ideal. also, if you get one of the plastic ones, make sure to treat it with a UV protectant at least yearly.

also, i dont think any of the ones you linked are really big enough for three bikes, including a cruiser. maybe look into a real shed?

Thanks.

This will be going on a concrete slab. I may go for two bins side by side. One for two of my bikes, and the second for the Cruiser.

I would totally get a real shed, but it reall cant be any more than 4 feet in depth. Given the limited real-estate, I need wide.

Here in Florida.....with high humidity.....if I stored my bikes in anything like that, they would rust and corrode vey quickly. My garage....with engne heat and home AC unit keeping it dry, is about the only place that works well. Outdoor sheds just trap the humidity. May be different where you live.

My son has a large work shop out behind his house. Great water proof roof, etc. Bikes deteriotate very quickly in it. He keeps the good stuff in his garage where there is some influence from home AC and engine heat. I figue you have to keep the humidity low in these storage units.

If you have a concrete pad already, then just build something. A small storage shed with a couple of doors is a pretty straightforward build.

Definitely some nasty humid weeks in the summer, and maybe here and there throughout the year, but it's not Florida, and not coastal Florida at all (where there's the salt thing on top of the humid thing). My bikes generally live in my garage in NoVa -- it's locked, but it's sure as heck not climate controlled. The old steel bike is doing just fine.
