Garmin 305 difficulties

having difficulty transferring courses to my Garmin 305. Used to work fine, but lately the courses will not transfer either way. Have done both a soft and hard reset to no avail. Anyone run into this issue and come up with a fix??

I think it was fixed by sending it back and getting a replacement - can't remember how much it cost though. It was a couple years old at the time, but still got the replacement for much less than a new one.
