The current count: Seven less cousins at Mr. Squirrel's family reunion picnic with no loss of forward momentum on my part.

which goes through a glass door with more accuracy, birdshot or buckshot?

buckshot is heavier and will be more certain to go straight. birdshot will be more deflected by the glass. I suggest a rifled slug if you really want to solve your rodent problem.

When I was a kid my grandparents had a huge Victorian house. Grandpa used to take us down to the basement to shoot targets with .22s. I wonder if that has anything to do with the current owner replacing foundation bricks.

When I was a kid, my older brother tested the power of a Crosman 760 against a crazy neighbor's window. I guess he expected to hear a lod crash of glass with shot #1 but nothing happened. Maybe a miss? Try, try again. 5 or 6x and nothing happened. So he stopped and proceeded w/his day. Come to find out later, through the old man, that the neighbor wondered why she had 6 tiny holes in her window.

No need for birdshot or buckshot...pop that little tree rat with an over-powered BB gun through the sliding glass door.
