Any good?? and it does use a 2.5 mm allen screw in the middle, right??

I've got one in my Colorado lt. Works fine, when it breaks I'll buy a Chris King.
Parts have to be difficult to find and it's not that good looking to me. But if it isn't broke... Yes the top piece has a set screw to keep it from loosening up.
I think they are pretty good and long lasting. Haven't had mine apart for some time.

Yes 2.5 hex. Well made I would say and well reviewed at the time. 116g. Retailed for $80-85 in mid 1990s.

Still 'out there'..same HS except a steel fork crown race on Ultegra, ALU on DA.
