I have a bike listed in the classifieds, here:

Someone has asked me the model of the bike, e.g., Nova, Club Special, etc. Although I'm the original owner, I'm embarrassed to say I don't remember the model, and the Catalogs section of the forum doesn't have a brochure from the year this frame was built.

Is anyone able to tell from the pics what model this is? Thanks.

Joe

I have seen only one similar to that one and is here in VA in a shop, from what the owner of the shop told me, his in specific is one of the original serotta's when serotta himself was building them. Not much but probably helps.

I have an almost duplicate of that frame in the garage. Rode it for several years. Same color and detailing. Except mine has the flat brake bridge. These were off-the-shelf frames. I bought mine in 1986. I spoke with Ben about it once--he said the paint was the first environmentally-friendly one that they tried.

I couldn't figure out the model either.
