Heading down to Puerto Vallerta right now with some buddies for a long weekend of surf and fishing. Having done a trip like this in years! (kids and life). No riding for a few days but some good cervezas an down time.

Excellent! Will you be up in the Sayulita/San Pancho area at all? If the "surf" part of the trip includes surfing, you should.

There are many reasons one of my homes is in that area. Lots of fun stuff, from archeology to zip lines. Thursday market day in La Penita.

Take some mountain bikes to the top of El Cerro de La Bufa and ride down to San Sabastian del Oeste (I've got a helmet-cam video of that somewhere).

Or hike the relatively little-known trail from Boca de Tomatlan to Las Animas, then take a water taxi back.

One of the guys on the trip is in the liquor distribution business. He brought a case of Casa Nobles Blanco, Anejo and Reposado down. Woke up this morning feeling it!

Surfed twice so far. Man this place is beautiful.
