My favorite sentence in the article:

The vehicle could still get stuck -- at a railway crossing, say -- "should the passengers cease their contribution to the forward motion due to physical inability to perform or a lack of will."

I like the part about the guy who got off to...ummm...recycle his beer. First he gets hit by a car...then he discovers that his "friends" have pedaled off without him.

We have plenty of "drunk bus" operators here.. I don't see why you would get upset about the people being in an open bus versus this bicycle contraption other then this thing is slow. Either way it's public intoxication.

They should race these in the tour.. at the end of the stage they would get penalty minutes based on how much beer is left in the tank.

Denver Pedal Hopper (http://www.pedalhopper.com/denver/)

But, I'll have to wait until they get their "open container" permit!
