OLN vs. CBS tour coverage

Just happened to see about 10 minutes of CBS Tour de France coverage(insert John Tesh joke here) last Sunday. It seems the CBS picture is much better quality (clearer, brighter) than OLN. I don't know if it's an OLN issue, my cable provider, or what. I think all Tour images we see come from the same official Tour cameras so why the quality difference? Discuss.

Anybody remember exactly how Floyd expressed it? Floyd was at a loss to explain why Lance had copped the attitude with him though.
